Porsche Color Series Each of the four colors used to create these pieces represent a specific color from Porsche’s decorated history - IRISH GREEN made its debut with the 356C in 1964 and the first 911, SPEED YELLOW was introduced alongside the 1991 911, RIVIERA BLUE was developed in 1994 and has been seen on the 911, 928, and 968 models, and RUBY STAR dating back to 1991 and seen on Porsche 911, 928 and 944. Using “Backdrop” paints, the pieces were created to represent the historic colors in a modern, abstract style.
